Nicholas Hoult will star at the lead character in the new monster movie, Renfield. Renfield is a character from Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel, Dracula. In the novel, he is the acolyte and henchman to Dracula. Renfield is institutionalized in an asylum and is focused on blood, insects and rats.
Nicolas Cage has been cast as Renfield’s master, Dracula. This isn’t the first time that Cage has played a vampire. He starred in the film, Vampire Kiss back in 1988.
Renfield has been described as a modern day adventure story with comedy aspects.
