Mr Wilson’s Movie Review: Spider-Man: No Way Home

My Buddy Mr J. Christopher Wilson is reviewing some movies. He has agreed for us to post his reviews here.

I read nothing about this latest iteration of Spider-Man and so I went into the movie blind. I am glad I did. I am not a big fan of time travel style stories, but this is one of the rare string theory stories that worked extremely well. The multiverse cameos were outstanding and created a new Spidey story that added to the whole of the Spider-Man franchises and brought them all together into one.

The meta stories synced well with the complex concept and gave audiences some light hearted comedic moments, some poignant moments of real trauma, as well as some deep philosophical hunks of gristle to chew on.

In all, this Spider-Man served the franchise very well and made room for it to continue forward for the future.

That explanation should be vague enough to not spoil things for new movie-goers, yet specific enough for those in the know to connect.
