Two weeks from today is Free Comic Book Day. Make sure to check out Free Comic Book Day at your local Comic Shop. Not every comic book in the store will be free but there will be several comic books absolutely for free and no strings attached. No purchase is necessary because the Comic Companies hope you will enjoy the free comics and come back later and purchase more comic books.
I would advise checking out your local comic shop prior to Free Comic Book Day and determine their hours. Often there is a limited supply of the free comics so you might want to arrive within the first few hours the store is open.
