Next year’s Captain America: Winter Solider will Co-Star Scarlett Johansson as The Black Widow. The Mary Sue is reporting that the Black Widow will play a significant role in the movie. She will help Steve Rogers further adjust to the modern world. Together they will face a powerful shady enemy.
My daughter did a happy dance when she heard the news of Johansson. The Black Widow is a great female hero for girls to look up to. She can hold her own against some of the most powerful men in the Marvel Universe. Johansson’s Black Widow is one of my daughter’s favorite superheroes.
As a guy, Scarlett Johansson is just another great reason to see this movie. She has given two wonderfully fun portrayals of the Black Widow so far and I am looking forward to a larger role.
