Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. A young boy finds and befriends a small alien. Eventually, the alien leaves Earth on a spaceship, leaving the boy behind without his new best friend. The experience becomes the greatest moment of the boy’s life, and he can never quite move past it.
Oh, and the alien is named Allen instead of just being an alien.
Okay, maybe we haven’t seen that version of the story before.
Petey has spent his life hoping that his extraterrestrial best friend will someday return. Twenty years later, Petey is all grown up, and his wish finally comes true. Allen is back!
There’s just one little problem: Petey doesn’t look quite the same as he did twenty years ago. Something tells us this reunion might not go exactly as either of them imagined.
Allen is a new science-fiction comedy coming exclusively to Netflix on November 12.
Check out the trailer below and prepare for one seriously strange reunion!
