Bruce Campbell has long been one of my favorite actors. He brings wit, charm, and a unique presence to every role he takes on. I’ve loved watching him ever since I first saw Army of Darkness. His performances in The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Burn Notice, Bubba Ho‑Tep, his cameo appearances in the Spider‑Man films, and so many others have only deepened my admiration for him.
Recently, Bruce announced on social media that he is battling cancer. While it is not curable, it is treatable. His announcement is shared below.
It was important to Bruce to be open with his fans about what he’s going through and why he needed to cancel upcoming appearances. Even in a difficult moment, he’s thinking about the people who support him.
My heart sank when I read his message. I know our time with Bruce—and that legendary chin—is precious. More importantly, my heart aches knowing he is fighting for his life.
From all of us at Geeky KOOL, and from fans everywhere: Get well soon, Bruce. We’re here to support you in any way we can. We don’t want to intrude, but we want you to know that you are deeply loved. We hope treatment brings you strength, comfort, and many more years ahead.
