Great news, fans of Xadia! The Dragon King, the highly anticipated sequel series (or “Arc 3”) to the amazing The Dragon Prince on Netflix, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help bring this new chapter to life.
This series will pick up seven years after the events of the original show, featuring our favorite characters now grown into adults, facing the return of the powerful startouch elf, Aaravos.
The production team, Wonderstorm, is pooling talent from major fantasy franchises, reuniting Avatar: The Last Airbender voice actors Jack De Sena (Callum) and Dante Basco (Zym), and welcoming Liam O’Brien of Critical Role fame, who is cast as a new, disruptive character.
Thanks to the incredible support of the community, backers quickly hit the first major stretch goal of the Kickstarter campaign! As a reward, Wonderstorm released a fully animated teaser focused on “The Silver Queen.”
While the teaser is shrouded in mystery, fans are already speculating about the powerful figure who declares, “I am the moon, the silver queen. I am near. My love is here.” This cryptic clip offers a thrilling glimpse into the epic scale and more mature tone of the new series.
