R.L. Stine, the master of children’s and young adult horror and creator of the Goosebumps series, is back to chill audiences!
The new movie, Pumpkinhead, is based on Stine’s short story of the same name, originally published in the 1999 children’s horror collection, Nightmare Hour.
When Sam and his family move to the small, cursed town of Redhaven, they are quickly drawn into its darkest secret. Every Halloween season, children mysteriously go missing—and everyone forgets they ever existed.
After Sam’s older brother, Finn, vanishes and is forgotten by everyone else, Sam teams up with new friends, Lucy and Jake, to find him. The trio soon unearth the horrifying legend of a creature called Pumpkinhead—a creepy, weird-looking scarecrow with a pumpkin for a head that hunts the kids of the small town. To survive and save Finn, they’ll have to face this monstrous creature and a spooky old farmer protecting the curse.
Pumpkinhead is coming to the Tubi Horror channel on Tubi TV on October 17th.
