The future of military avionics might be AI piloted fighter jets. Anduril has developed a full AI unmanned fighter jet called the Fury. It is not remoted piloted like the drones of today. It is a Collaborative Combat Aircraft that Anduril designed for the U.S. Air Force. It is designed to work along side of manned aircraft. below is an interesting video from 60 Minutes about it.
