The trailer for the seventh installment of the Scream franchise is here! I still remember watching the original Scream mainly to see Drew Barrymore, only to be shocked when she was killed off in the opening scene. Despite slasher films not being my usual go-to, I’ve stuck with the series through all its twists and turns.
This time, it looks like the franchise is circling back to Sidney Prescott and introducing her daughter into the mix. But I can’t help but wonder—will we see Sam and Tara again? Could they make a surprise return, or even take on the chilling mantle of Ghostface? If so, it might mean they’ve succumbed to the dark legacy of their long-dead father, becoming what they once fought against in Scream VI.
Scream 7 slashes into theaters on February 27, 2026. Get ready for another round of suspense, screams, and surprises.
