The wait is over! Planet Comicon Kansas City officially kicks off today and runs through Sunday. Bartle Hall is about to be overtaken by geeks, nerds, cosplayers, and a star-studded lineup of celebrities for the largest pop-culture event in the Midwest.
The Geeky KOOL team will be on the floor all weekend covering the panels, the cosplay, and the creators. If you spot us, please come say hi! We’d love to meet our readers and fellow fans.
To help you navigate the weekend, here is the essential info for joining the fun:

The show floor and main programming hours are:

Friday, March 27: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturday, March 28: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Sunday, March 29: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pro-Tip: If you want to be among the first on the floor, we recommend arriving at least 90 minutes early. Lines form quickly, but the good news is you’ll be inside with fellow fans while you wait for the doors to drop! Also, keep in mind that special evening events (like Planet Drag! and the Cosplay Contest) run in the Grand Ballroom past the official floor closing times.

Official Website: Skip the morning box office line by purchasing online at the official Planet Comicon site. You can choose from single-day, 3-day passes, or specialized VIP packages.

On-Site Box Office: Tickets are available at the registration area inside the Kansas City Convention Center (Bartle Hall), provided the day hasn’t sold out.

Will Call: If you’ve already bought your tickets but don’t have them in hand, head to the Will Call kiosks near the main entrance to scan your QR code and grab your badge.
