When most people think of Bigfoot, their minds immediately head to the dense forests of the Pacific Northwest. However, reported Sasquatch activity and eyewitness encounters span mountain ranges and woodlands all across the country.
Taking the stage at the Ozark Mountain Bigfoot Conference this Saturday, guest speaker Harley Owens brings a wealth of field experience directly from the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. Raised in East Tennessee, Owens grew up exploring the rugged terrain of the Great Smoky Mountains. After experiencing a life-altering encounter of his own, he transitioned from a traditional outdoorsman into a dedicated field investigator.
Owens is the founder of Owens Outdoors: Smoky Mountain Cryptids and leads the Bigfoot Reports & Data research community. At just 26 years old, he has already established himself as a prominent voice in modern field research, appearing on popular cryptid podcasts and YouTube series including The Confessionals, Strangeology, Beyond BMR, and Bigfoot Society.
Be sure to catch Harley Owens live tomorrow, Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Ozarks Event Center in Nixa, Missouri!
