MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles looks really awesome. I have read the first Shannara book, The Sword of Shannara, and really enjoyed it. I hear the rest of the books are even better.
I love the fact that Fantasy shows are now being well written and directed. Game of Thrones has escalated the genre to new levels. It looks like The Shannara Chronicles are on par with Game of Thrones but with PG 13 sensibilities.
