There is a rumor floating around the internet about a possible Middle Earth (Hobbit and Lord of the Rings) Amusement Park. The rumor states Universal Studios is in discussions with the Tolkien family. With the success of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal, one could see appeal of this kind of Amusement Park.
In New Zealand, they have the sets from the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings but there is no where in the States to entered the Middle Earth realm. I could see a ton of potential and KOOL rides in a Middle Earth Amusement park. I would love to go to a Middle Earth themed amusement park.
Here is to hoping this rumor comes to realization with Universal or a different amusement park.
