The Dutilly Family blog is just that, a blog about a family and their lives together. I saw a link to this blog on IO9. I was instantly impressed by the picture of the AT-AT Loft Bed. I went over to the The Dutilly Family blog to check out all the details.
I found a great post on the blog about the design and creation of this extremely geeky KOOL loft bed. They give some of the information on how it was built. The attention to detail is awesome. Mr Dutilly spent 60 hours of hard work over 6 1/2 weeks to produce this labor of love for his son. The blog has more pictures.
Mr Dutilly, this is fantastic. At Geeky KOOL, we salute you and your wood work skills. We appreciate your attention to detail and the love for your son. If you decide to create more of these, many geeks would line up for an AT-AT loft bed. I know I want one.
(Correction: orginally I posted this as a bunk bed but it is not a bunk bed- requiring two beds but rather a loft bed. The post was corrected)
