The fine folks over at IGN had a poll to determine Who is the best Doctor. David Tennant won their poll by a landslide with 53.62% of the votes. Matt Smith came in second place with a distant 20% of the vote.
The classic Doctors received a very small portion of the votes.Since IGN is most known for their coverage of video games, their reach to fans of the classic Doctors might be slim. This can explain why William Hartnell (1st Doctor) only received 0.62% of the votes and the classic super star Doctor Tom Baker (4th Doctor– with the scarf) received a mild 9.88% of the votes. Most of my friends that love the classic Doctors are huge Tom Baker fans.
Take this poll for what it is worth. I do agree with the top result. I am a big Tennant fan. He is definitely my favorite but I do enjoy each incarnation of the Doctor.
