I stumbled across this video, which is a little more than a year old. My wife’s favorite cartoon from her childhood was Hanna Barbera’s Wacky Races. This video for the Peugeot 208 is hysterical. It meets my early cartoon funny bone. They nail all of the characters from the comical Wacky Races cartoon.
Wacky Races was a cartoon about 11 race cars as they race across the country. There is a variety of humorous characters that is so late 60s and early 70s. They have unique racing “cars” including a tank, a Arkansas Chugabug, a Caveman Bolder car, 1930’s Mob car, and several other specialty vehicles. Dick Dastardly and his dog Muttley were always trying to use dirty tricks and cheating to win.
