CBS released a teaser to their upcoming TV series Star Trek Discovery. This footage shows the test voyage of the USS Discovery, a ship design that is familiar to Star Trek fans as it is similar to the ship design in the short lived premise of Star Trek Phase 2. CBS will release the new series next year, with the first episode shown on CBS, and the rest of the series on CBS All Access.
