Here are the first two pages to the the web comic: Sunday Superheroes. They have 13 pages of their web comic currently out. They put out a new page every Sunday (per the name Sunday Superheroes).

I meet Bradley Potts, writer of Sunday Superheroes, at Wizard World St. Louis.  His charismatic personally drew me in right away.  I promised to check out Sunday Superheroes and write about it if I enjoyed it.  Well, I am enjoying it it thoroughly.  I read all thirteen pages and can’t wait until next Sunday’s edition.

Bradley is also the owner of Gateway Comics.  Gateway Comics publishes Sunday Superheroes.

Caution: This web comic does use curse words in the comics.  It is minor cursing (mild words used on regular TV)  and has only happened twice in the 13 issues.  Parental Guidance is suggested for young children.

  1. Thanks for the great review, Larry. I’m really glad you’re enjoying the comic. We’re currently about half way through the first chapter of the four chapter story arc entitled Donning the Mask, so there’s plenty more to come.

Just to clarify some of Larry’s comments, the curse words he mentions (all two of them so far) are all language you might expect on broadcast television, so the comic is not swimming in foul language or anything like that.

Second, don’t come out to Belleville expecting to find a store named Gateway Comics. Gateway Comics is just the official name of the corner of my basement where I publish Sunday-Superheroes 🙂

Thanks again, Larry. New episode this Sunday!!

  2. Thank you for the corrections Bradley. I hate when I don’t paint a complete picture of the situation.

I meant to phrase the warming that is minor cursing. I knew it only happened a few times. We do have some young readers so I always like to give a warning for parents. I will update it in the article.

I will also update the information about Gateway comics.

Keep up the great work. Maybe we can schedule an interview in the future to talk about your vision for Sunday Superheroes.

  3. I just thought everyone might like to know that the first chapter of Sunday-Superheroes is now complete and we’re a few pages into the second.

Trevor Von Eeden continues to illustrate this issue, but color is by George Freeman, who did a great job. Blake will be back for issue 3.

  4. Hi Larry!!

It’s been about a year since I last checked it and I hope you’re still enjoying Stalker. At this point, the final chapter of Donning the Mask is getting near the end.

    1. Hey Bradley! Sorry I missed this post. Yes I am a still enjoying Stalker. I am actually writing up a post about the Kickerstarter campaign.
