According to THR, MGM and Warner Bros will work together to bring a remake of the of Stargate movie. It will be a trilogy of movies.
Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin co-wrote the original movie. Emmerich will direct this trilogy of movies. Devlin is producing it.
There is no mention if this trilogy of movies will encompass some of the ideas and concepts from the television adaptions of Stargate. I would love to see the formation of SG1 in this trilogy.
I am excited for this movie trilogy. It will be interesting to see how they adapt the story and characters for trilogy of movies.
