Special Guests at LibraryCon!

LibraryCon is only days away and all of us at the Library Center are super excited! We have had lots of requests for a list of our author, illustrator, and fandom guests. Please remember that our tabled guests will be present on Saturday only. However, DO NOT miss out on a special showing Friday night of Drifter: Lonesome Highway. I am really excited to show off this talented group as our kick off event.

Friday night- July 24th

  • 6:30-8:30 p.m. for age 13 and older in the auditorium. “Drifter: Lonesome Highway” Screening and Q&A. Watch three episodes from the second season of “Drifter,” rated PG-13, a Web series produced and filmed in Springfield, and set in a post-second civil war Midwest landscape. Enjoy a Q&A with the cast and director Jason Brasier after the screening.

Saturday – July 25th (main events start at 11am. Guests will be setting up from 9-11am)

Costuming is welcome! We do ask that you leave your costume weapons at home and keep your cosplay family friendly! We are not closing down the library for this event so there will be a mix of con-attendees and regular library patrons.
