The Wonder Woman movie premieres this upcoming weekend. There is huge anticipation for Wonder Woman to finally star in a solo movie. There has been demand for decades for her to have her own movie. Finally it is happening.
Female heroes have been slighted in this golden age of Superhero movies. The Black Widow has been in five Marvel movies but yet to star in her own film.
Wonder Woman was just introduced on the big screen last Summer in Batman V Superman. For many of us, she stole show. She was the high point of this much maligned movie.
Marvel has scheduled Captain Marvel to be their premiere female solo super hero movie. It is scheduled to open March 8, 2019.
Along with this weekend being the premiere of The Wonder Woman movie, Saturday is Wonder Woman Day. There are event planned across the nation to celebrate all that Wonder Woman is and represents. She is a warrior and an ambassador for peace. She is strong and powerful while also having a soft heart to help others in need. She represents strong womanhood without bashing men to do it. She is a princess and a demi-god. She is a superhero and yet represents every woman. Celebrate Wonder Woman on Saturday.

There is an event, Wonder Weekend, in Branson, MO on Saturday at the Branson IMAX (presented by Visioncon). The rockin artist David Faught will be there on Saturday. He will give away a free 11×17 pinup to a lucky fan. He will be doing doing sketches. Make sure to check out this event. If you can go and pick up David Faught art work, you will be extremely happy.
I plan on Celebrating Wonder Woman and check out the new movie this weekend. I hope to get caught up on issues of Wonder Woman comics. I will watch some re-runs of the classic Wonder Woman television series. I might even check out some of cartoon episodes of Wonder Woman.
