There are several rumors flying around the internet that Han Solo will be back for Star Wars Episode VII. It is being reported that Harrison Ford has agreed to return has Han Solo and will have a significant role in the movie. It has been long thought that Harrison Ford immensely desired for Han Solo to die at the the end of Return of the Jedi. Supposedly, Han’s death was originally in the Jedi script but was later taken out to give it more of a happy ending. It is possible that Disney might be willing to finally kill off Solo if Ford still desires to put a capstone on his role as the likable scoundrel.
If the rumors are true and Ford does have a significant role in the Star Wars VII, it is anticipated that Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will also co-star in the movie with him. George Lucas had already discussed this possibility with Fisher and Hamill. Can t these three actors rekindle the magic of the original trilogy by joining back up? Will they be 30 years older in the movie as they are in real life? We will have to see how this plays out.
