Actor Richard Hatch passed away yesterday, February 7, 2017 in Los Angeles, California. He passed away after losing his fight with pancreatic cancer.
Hatch was best known for his role of Captain Apollo on the 1978 original Battlestar Galactica television series. He later appeared on 2003 remake of Battlestar Galactica as the politician Tom Zarek.
I met Mr Hatch at Planet ComicCon in Kansas City, MO a few years ago. He was a genuinely nice guy.
