I just fell out of the TARDIS after a busy month traipsing around the universe, and the regeneration feels good. I’m going to ease my way back into reporting by offering this video of epic cosplay sweetened with parkour done in San Diego during the time of the 2013 Comic Con. The video is a marketing promotion for the new Ubisoft game Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, to be released November 1st, but still fun to watch.
Filmed in the perspective just as a player of the video game would see gameplay action on the screen, the looks of the people as our main character passes show just how spontaneous this seemed to be. I salute the camera crew who was able to keep up with all the jumping and stunts. And if you switch the video quality down to at least 240, it starts to resemble very old video game cut scenes! Enjoy.
