Planet Comicon Kansas City & VisionCon In February

February starts the Comic book/ geek conventions in Missouri.  Visioncon in Branson, MO is traditionally the last weekend of February and it remains there this year. Planet Comicon Kansas City is usually a spring convention in March to May but this year it launches early.  Back to Back weekends promises a lot of geek fun and exhaustion during the cold winter.

Planet Comicon Kansas City will be held at Bartle Hall in downtown Kansas City.  This February 16-18 will be the 20th show.  I remember when they started back in 1999. The show was fairly small but it kept growing like crazy every year.  Now it is the largest Midwest comic book and pop culture convention. It is only a month away until Planet Comicon Kansas City.

Visioncon is Missouri’s premier comic con, science fiction, fantasy, live action, role playing, and gaming convention. The first Visioncon was in 1991.  More than 4,000 people attended last year’s VisionCon.  This wonderful convention is held February 23-25 at the Branson Convention Center. This convention is full of KOOL vendors, activities, panels, and geeky fun.  It is only five weeks away.

Geeky KOOL will cover both of these awesome conventions.  We are proud to participate as members of the press.  Geeky KOOL staff will be involved with 3 different panels at VisionCon.  We are hoping to be involved with a panel or two at Planet Comicon Kansas City.

We will be highlighting both of these conventions heavily over the next several weeks.  We will bring details and other information about both.

I can’t wait for this convention season to being with these two awesome conventions.

Stay Geeky My Friends!
