Harry Knowles Steps Down from Ain’t It Cool News

Harry Knowles, creator of the the geek site, Ain’t It Cool News, has stepped down from running the site after accusations of sexual assaulted.  Knowles steps away after two of his key contributors recently departed from the site after the accusations. He was removed from the Austin Film Critics’ Society.  Long time friend and founder of Alamo Drafthouse, Tim League, has severed all association with Knowles.

Knowles is accused of sexually assaulting a young lady several times at the Alamo Draft House in Austin, Texas.  Jasmine Baker came forward about the assults.  There are now four more ladies coming forward about Knowles inappropriate touching of them.

Knowles has denied these accusations.  He is stepping aside to allow his sister Dannie Knowles to take over the running of AICN.  Knowles stated he is spending this time on therapy, detox, and getting into a better place.
