Fox Delays “Gamit”, Announces Two Unnamed Marvel Films Date

20th Century Fox made a couple of announcements about their upcoming Marvel films.  The Gambit movie will not be released on October 7, 2016 as originally expected.  Because of changes in the director and that filming has yet to begin, this was an expected announcement.  20th Century Fox still plans on making the Gambit movie.  They hope to begin filming in March of 2016.

Along with this news, they released two future dates of Marvel movies.  They have October 6, 2017 and January 12, 2018 on the calendar as these yet to be named movies.  One of the date could the be new release date for the Gambit movie.  After the mega success of Deadpool, it is very possible a sequel could now be scheduled.  A follow-up movie to X-Men: Apocalypse is a real possibility.  A new Fantastic Four movie is less likely be released on one of these dates but you never know with 20th Century Fox.  They might just release a Fantastic Four to tick off Marvel.
