Chris Evans Confirms Avengers 4 is His Last Marvel Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter and New York Times, Chris Evans’ final appearance at Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Avengers 4.  Evans confirmed it with the NY Times.  He stated, “You want to get off the train before they push you off” about his time with the MCU.

This will leave a vacuum in the Marvel Universe.  Will someone step up to take on the role of idealistic go to hero for the Avengers and the MCU?  Will someone take up the mantle of Captain America?  In the comics, both Bucky aka Winter Soldier and Sam aka Falcon have taken on the role of Captain America when he wasn’t available.  It is possible that we could see this happen on the big screen or maybe just a new non Captain America leader like Captain Marvel.

Chris Evans has been Captain America since 2011’s Captain America: The First Avengers.  He has starred in 3 Cap movies and 4 Avengers movies. He has made cameo appearances in several other Marvel movies.

Avengers: Infinity War is set to open on April 27,  2018.Stay Geeky My Friends!
