How geeky do you consider yourself when your kids come home excited because their Marching Band Show is set to a SciFi movie soundtrack? In my case, very GEEKY, very KOOL, and very PROUD!
My two oldest children are in the Aurora Houn Dawg Marching Band. This year’s theme was “Last Man Standing” and was performed to “Enterprising Young Men” from Star Trek (2010).
The entire band worked extremely hard this year and brought home 4 First Place, 3 Second place, and a Fourth place (against schools 3 times their size!) finishes this year.
